The Everglades Challenge is an expedition style adventure race for kayaks, canoes, and small sailboats from Ft Desoto at the entrance to Tampa Bay to  Key Largo. The boats are available for inspection on Friday on the Beach at Ft Desoto, and the race Starts at sunrise Saturday.  Launch Friday at Ft Desoto ramp.

Camp onboard anchored near the campground or off of shell key. There are usually Squadron members with campsites on the water for the event who welcome members to anchor off their site and enjoy evening camaraderie around the camp fire.
