A total of 5 boats and 7 sailors left the Dunedin Causeway Friday morning around 10:30. A steady west wind of around 10 mph (a fortunate byproduct of Hurricane Dorian as it exited to the NE of Florida) made for an easy fast reach to Mandalay channel and the public docks near the recreation center. A short walk brought the group to the Palm Pavilion, where we enjoyed good food and camaraderie, as usual. Once filled to our Plimsoll lines, we departed and headed back, using the same steady westerly wind to easily reach back to the causeway. Thanks to Ron Hoddinott, Greg Gregory, and Donna Bradly for a few photos from the day.
